At Terrascope, we’re on a mission to make it easy for companies in the land, nature, and net zero economy sectors to measure and reduce their carbon emissions. Today, we’re proud to announce a major milestone in that journey: Terrascope is now officially conformant with the WBCSD’s Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT) standard.
This achievement marks a new era of interoperability for carbon emissions data sharing across global supply chains — and reinforces our commitment to making Scope 3 emissions more transparent, reliable, and actionable.
The Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT), led by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), aims to enable trusted, standardized, and interoperable product-level emissions data exchange across organizations and solution providers.
In today’s decarbonization landscape, collaboration is everything. Most emissions data — especially for Scope 3 — sits with partners upstream or downstream in the value chain. Without reliable access to supplier data, even the most sophisticated carbon accounting platforms hit a wall.
With PACT conformance, Terrascope customers can now send and receive Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data seamlessly across the PACT network, even if their suppliers or partners use other platforms.
This new capability addresses one of the toughest challenges in carbon accounting: getting access to primary data from across the supply chain. With PACT conformance, Terrascope customers can:
Retailers, large food brands, and manufacturers — particularly those with complex supplier networks — stand to benefit the most.
With backend infrastructure now live, we’re shifting gears to release a frontend interface to make PACT-powered workflows more easily accessible to all customers.
We’re proud to be part of the global movement for greater carbon transparency, and we look forward to helping our customers make the most of this breakthrough.
