Confused about how to calculate your FLAG emissions?

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) launched the Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) Target Setting Guidance to enable companies to set science-based targets that include land-related emissions and removals for the first time - filling a 22% gap of global emissions that have not been addressed before.

This FLAG Standard, alongside recent GHG Protocol Land Sector Guidance, marks a significant shift in corporate GHG accounting and reporting expectations. It presents a challenging yet ambitious framework for companies, especially those in 'goods-oriented' sectors like food, agriculture, retail, and fashion, to calculate emissions related to the Land Sector.
