Our Interview Process

Our interview process is designed to ensure a fair and thorough assessment of your skills, experience, and alignment with Terrascope’s values. The process may differ slightly for different roles or teams, however the same basics apply whether you’re applying for a tech job, a marketing job, an internship, or a leadership position. A typical shortlisted candidate will go through one talent acquisition screening plus 3 - 5 rounds of interviews.

Please note: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we will only contact select candidates who meet the requirements for the position for an initial screening.

Step 1

Talent Screening

The first step is a conversation with our recruitment team to explore your background, career aspirations, and interest in the role. It’s also your chance to learn more about Terrascope and the position beyond what’s available online.

Optional: Online coding assessment to be completed for technical roles in our engineering and data teams.

Step 2

Case study assessment

For Technical Roles: Participate in a live coding session with our engineers—your potential future colleagues!

For Non-Technical Roles: Complete a take-home case study and present it to a panel of cross-functional stakeholders.

These assessments mimic real-world challenges and allow us to evaluate your communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and strategic thinking.

Step 3

Meet the team

Next, you’ll engage with the hiring manager or potential peers. This step helps us evaluate cultural fit while giving you a sense of the team you’d be working with.

Step 4

Offer

We value collaborative decision-making at Terrascope. Our team reviews each candidate’s profile collectively to ensure a holistic and fair evaluation. If selected, your recruiter will connect with you to extend an offer and guide you through the next steps. For candidates not selected, we commit to timely communication and, where possible, constructive feedback to help with future opportunities.

Feedback and Candidate Experience

We aim to provide feedback within two working days after your interview. Hold us accountable. Following your interviews, you’ll receive a survey to share your thoughts and help us improve the candidate experience for you and future applicants.

Thank you for your interest in Terrascope. We’re excited to learn more about you and look forward to welcoming you to the team!
